Clements Brace is a full-time Guardian with the Tahltan Central Government. He assists in wildlife protection, climate change and biological monitoring, and inspection of mineral exploration sites.
Before joining TCG, Clements worked as an outfitting guide. He is an avid hunter and provides meat and wood to the Elders. He is actively learning our language and sharing our Tahltan ways. “My role as a Tahltan Guardian is very exciting. I am honoured to be working for our Nation and to be protecting our land and our animals. I have had the opportunity to work with our youth in the Dease Lake School and on our land and I look forward to teaching our youth what I have learned.”
