How it Works
This web application was created by the Tahltan Central Government to help you find your next great job, or your next great hire.
The easy-to-use templates help you quickly create customized job postings, outlining the education, essential skills proficiency, work experience, training, certifications and qualifications needed. With one click, your job openings will be advertised to Tahltan members across the country via email and a variety of websites.
Tahltan job seekers can then respond to your job posting. With the click of a button, they can send their resume and copies of their tickets and certification, all already loaded onto their profiles.
• It’s a one-stop-shop where you can find all the candidates or opportunities in the same place.
• A user guide explains how to use the web application.
• All of the data is secure and kept on servers in Canada.
Minimum computer requirements
Please note that the Essential Skills Group website works on a wide range of devices including personal computers, laptops, notebooks and tablets. You can even use your mobile devices, such as smartphones, to register. However:
To access certain features, such as test taking, you need to use devices with larger screens (e.g. personal computers, laptops, notebooks and tablets).
Be sure to use devices with a strong Internet connection. Some wireless networks are not strong enough for everything to work properly.
Members login

Enter the username and password that was emailed to you by the website administrator.
Click SIGN IN.

Employers registration
Go to tahltancg.essentialskillsgroup.com
Click the EMPLOYER REGISTRATION link.
Complete the registration form and click the REGISTER button to submit your information. Remember the username and password you selected. You will need this information to log into the website later. For security reasons, we don’t store both elements online. You won’t be able to recover that information online later. You will receive an email from the TCG confirming your registration.

Employers login

Enter the username and password you selected and click SIGN IN.
