AVAILABLE POSITIONS

YARDPERSON; PURCHASING & LOGISTICS to support the efficient mobilization and demobilization of drill equipment and supplies to work sites across North America.

  • Operate forklifts to load and unload drill equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain parts inventory and reorder as required to support shop and site operations.
  • Ensure correct storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Gather and load items to prepare for job startups.
  • Unload, clean, and organize equipment returning from worksites.
  • Perform routine inspections and identifies equipment that requires repair or maintenance as it returns from worksite.
  • Participate in the annual inventory process.

YARDPERSON; FLEET to support the efficient mobilization of work vehicles and rolling stock to work sites across North America.

  • Ensures correct storage of work vehicles and parts.
  • Maintains parts inventory and reorder as required.
  • Use fleet maintenance software to track and record inspections and maintenance to fleet.
  • Install GPS units and other aftermarket accessories (bumpers, lights, headache racks, etc.)
  • Perform basic fleet maintenance, including shocks, mudflaps, tire changes, and occasional fabrication of parts.
  • Wash and detail the fleet vehicles.
  • Participates in the annual inventory process.

Both roles may require travel to work sites to support job startup, site organization and inventory as needed.

THE SETTING

This position is based in a warehouse work environment, with some duties performed outside in all weather conditions.

THE SCHEDULE

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, corresponding with hours of work required in the branch location. Availability after hours and on weekends may be required during busy periods.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 2+ years of experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Experienced with forklifts, wheel loader and other heavy equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience would be an asset.
  • Minimum requirement of a Class 5 licence with no restrictions. Class 3 Driver’s Licence is an asset.
  • Ability to repetitively lift 75 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
