Supply Chain/Contracts Manager

Key responsibilities for this position may include but not limited to:
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define contract requirements and specifications.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a centralized repository of contracts.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams and other stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Stay abreast of best practices in contract management.
• As needed, manage change orders and vendor claims.
• Ensure agreed upon company website for open contracts/bids is up to date.
• Ensure Seabridge goals for small business and/or indigenous involvement are met.
• Conduct vendor evaluations/assessments and participate in determining suitability for contract awards.
• Help negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for Seabridge.
• Ensure timely and accurate contract documentation, during initiation, execution, and closeout.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the Supply Chain function.
• Train and mentor staff on contract management and Supply Chain principles and best practices
• Review contract performance and compliance via scorecards created by Project and Contract leads and contribute to the final contractor scorecard review.
• Maintain and upgrade contract management processes and procedures, including templates and terms.
• Coordinate with departments (legal, project, environment, exploration) on supply chain strategies to optimize vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Legal team to ensure contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and otherexternal partners.
• Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance and initiatives forsenior management.
