The Opportunity:  Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has new exciting opportunities for a Summer Student placement for an Underground Engineer-in-Training (EIT) starting May 2025 at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia.  Working a FIFO rotation of 14-shifts on and 14-shifts off during their work practicum period over the summer months.

Reporting to the Project Manager or designate, the successful candidate will be responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers while supporting continuous improvement and mine optimization projects geared towards achieving key performance targets. The incumbent is expected to adhere to and maintain all company standards and perform duties to the highest levels of safe operation.
