Purpose of the Role

Leads shift of plant Metallurgists, Graduates, COOPs and Metallurgical Technicians ensuring that resources, capacity and capability are aligned to work plans. Provides coaching, mentoring and development to team members to continuously improve their knowledge, skills and relationship interactions.

Provides technical support to the Operations group, while maintaining a safety, behaviour and cost commitment consistent with the Newcrest Values.

Assists in providing input on short-to-medium term planning requirements to ensure adherence to plan and therefore maximum and sustainable profitability of the business.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.
