Skeena Resources Ltd. (Skeena) is currently looking to hire a Senior Environmental Coordinator within our Sustainability group, reporting to the Regulatory and Compliance Advisor. The Senior Environmental Coordinator will provide departmental and technical leadership to support environmental regulatory and permit compliance and related management plans at Skeena operations.

The successful applicant will ideally be a self-starter with previous experience coordinating environmental monitoring programs for site operations and projects and who enjoys working in the outdoors. They will have strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective implementation of health, safety, environmental protocols to work safely and maintain compliance for the site.  

The Eskay Creek project is located within the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. The job will be based out of Skeena’s Eskay Creek Project on a two-week rotation basis. Transportation would be provided from Telegraph Creek, Dease Lake and Iskut as well as charter flights from Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince George, Terrace and Smithers with shuttles from either the Bob Quinn airport or Terrace Airport to Eskay Creek camp facilities.
