Our Red Chris Operational Technologies unit is now recruiting for the position of RF Communications and Wireless Specialist, with a competitive base salary between $110,000.00 – $125,000.00/yr, dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Purpose of the role

The RF Communications and Wireless Specialist will provide support on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the two-way radio and wireless communications (Motorola Capacity Max, Canopy, BDAs, AirFibre, PMP communications, mesh network, among others). They will also provide support on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the leaky feeder system. They are to ensure safe, reliable, and effective communications systems across site. Supporting reliability engineering, maintenance, and asset management best practices. Improving the reliability of critical assets and driving continuous improvement of critical assets. They will also provide technical and statutory guidance; Supporting operational technologies specialists in their role with two-way radio, IP network and wireless technologies.
