Job Summary

The Procurement & Sourcing Specialist will play a key role on the Contracts & Procurement team on the Galore Creek Project (the “Project”). Under the supervision of the Manager, Contracts & Procurement, the Procurement & Sourcing Specialist will work with various stakeholder groups on the Project and will be responsible for various tasks related to procurement strategy development and execution, vendor sourcing and management, logistics, and expediting.

It is expected that the successful candidate will travel to the Project Site, located in northwestern British Columbia, intermittently during field seasons which currently run from approximately May through early October each year.

Located in Tahltan Territory in northwestern British Columbia, Galore Creek is one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold-silver deposits. Galore Creek Mining Corporation (“GCMC”) is the operator of the Galore Creek Project and is a 50:50 partnership between Newmont Corporation, and Teck Resources Limited (the “Partners”). The Partners are committed to advancing the asset towards a development decision with meaningful input from the Tahltan Nation and BC regulators.
