Skeena Resources Limited is a Canadian exploration mining company, focused on working towards the restart of the past-producing Eskay Creek gold-silver mine with additional development projects in our portfolio, all located in Tahltan Territory in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada. Eskay Creek was the highest-grade gold mine in the world when in production. The mine produced 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million ounces of silver at average grades of 45 g/t gold and 2,224 g/t silver from 1994-2008.

Job Title: Mining Engineering Co-Op Student (8-month term)

Reporting directly to the Senior Mining Engineer, the Mine Engineering Co-Op Student is responsible for assisting Skeena’s Technical Services team by actively contributing to day-to-day operations on a remote site while collaborating closely with the Operations and Project Execution teams during the first five months of the term (May – September) and supporting with strategic technical guidance to the project from an office setting during the last three months of the term (October – December).

This role gives the student great exposure to the construction phase of a fast paced, challenging, and diverse mining environment, and provides a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills while adding value to the organization.
