Description

Position Title: Mine Technician  

The Mine Technician contributes to the smooth operation of mine operations by contributing to the development of mine plans in the daily, weekly, and up to 6-month time horizon. The role’s objective is to provide a consistent interface between Mine Operations, Mine Planning & Projects that supports and monitors the execution of the three-month short-range plan, providing early identification of risks and opportunities for incorporation into future planning or immediate resolution, while optimizing safety and production. The role requires a fundamental knowledge of the concepts of mine engineering, extraction and tailings operations, reclamation objectives, geotechnical design, economics and Mine safety.  

This position is seasonal in nature and the duration of the employment term is expected to be 5-6 months, depending on workload and construction season
