Purpose of the Role:  

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead – Electrical Engineer to join our Red Chris Mine in Northwest British Columbia with a competitive base salary between $135,000.00 – $170,000.00 dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications. 

The Electrical Lead will support the Newcrest Capital Project’s group located at the Red Chris mine site and is accountable for providing input into the electrical design and propose modifications to project plans to ensure that all works comply with the basis of design, engineering design criteria specifications and standards.

Is responsible for facilitating cross departmental interface; acts as the point of contact for electrical discipline activities, project scoping, detailed design, project construction and close out. Will work closely with the project management team including project management, procurement, project controls and construction.

We are seeking an individual for a opportunity working Monday through Friday in the Vancouver office or travelling to Red Chris site as necessary.
