Hydrogeological Field Assistant

Reporting to the Project Hydrogeologist and Jr. Hydrogeologist, the Hydrogeological Field Assistant will be responsible for providing support when performing tasks in the field and at drill rigs. The successful candidate will contribute as a member of the field team, assisting with field planning and execution and data processing, while upholding rigorous safety standards. The position is in support of the 2024 geotechnical field program at the Galore Creek Project, a world-class porphyry copper-gold deposit.

 

 

Overview

 

This position is based out of the Galore Creek project site, a remote fly-in camp located in northwestern British Columbia. GCMC will provide travel to and from the project site. This role is expected to be working on-site on a rotational basis of 16 days on, 12 days off from June until September 2024, with office-based work before and after the field season.
