Job Requirements:
In this role, MATRIX is seeking an experienced Core Cutter. You are team oriented, motivated, and have a high attention to detail, accuracy and can prioritize tasks. You will play a key role at one of our remote exploration camps in the Yukon, by performing all primary responsibilities in a timely manner independently. This position reports to the Camp Manager and takes day-today task direction from the project Geologists.

Responsibilities: Core Cutter Job Duties
• Core Cutting, as directed by
• Support geological and geophysical programs and labour, when requested.
• Participate in site orientation.
• Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.
• Participate in Mock Medivac when scheduled.
• Support monthly worksite inspections.
• Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
• Always ensure good housekeeping in the work area.
• Ensure all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for tasks being conducted on site is utilized.
• Complete timesheets and submit to camp manager for approval by the 10th and the 25th of every month.
• Notify Camp Manager of any unsafe practices and unsafe environment, immediately.
• Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
• Actively participate as a high performing, team member.
• Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
