THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Board of Directors of an indigenous owned development corporation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the company. Leading a team 7 direct reports, and a highly engaged workforce of over 300 people, the CEO provides effective leadership and vision to continue to grow the value of the organization in a responsible and sustainable manner. The CEO works in a high-level position of trust and integrity ensuring the professionalism is felt with all stakeholders served by the organization. The CEO ensures the implementation and achievement of the current and future strategic direction and ensures the delivery on all key performance indicators.

Location: There is flexibility on where the CEO resides with preference being considered for them to be based in either Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Whitehorse, Smithers, Terrace, or Dease Lake.
