Job Requirements:
In this role, MATRIX is seeking an experienced Camp Kitchen Attendant. You are team oriented, motivated, and have a high attention to detail, accuracy and can prioritize tasks. You will play a key role at one of our remote exploration camps in the Yukon, by performing all primary responsibilities in a timely manner independently. This position reports to the 1st Cook.

Responsibilities: Camp Kitchen Assistant Job Duties
• Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
• First cook of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.
• Perform dish washing as per Food Safety Plan.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment, and small wares as per the Food Safety Plan.
• Sweep and mop service areas.
• Sandwiches 80 on stock
• Cut meats, cheeses, and vegetables as required.
• Fruit bags.
• Boiled eggs.
• Refill chips.
• Refill juice fridge lunch and end of day refills as required.
• Make sure coffee pots are always full.
• Take out garbage.
• Pick up any messes that you see.
• Refill condiments.
• Restock bread room.
