Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager on site, the Avalanche Safety Technician is responsible for the safe operation in avalanche prone terrain of the Eskay Creek Site during the winter months. This includes full oversight of the avalanche risk management program, forecasting for field work crews, training operations crews in avalanche safety and active field work to reduce avalanche risk.
