Role Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Plant Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Technician is responsible for the Metallurgical Laboratory and the development/use of policies and procedures to ensure that all personnel in the Laboratory can safely and efficiently carry out all required work. The Metallurgical Technician is also responsible for performing routine metallurgical laboratory testwork and other projects in the mill. Will support the Plant Metallurgists in optimizing plant performance through delivery of routine diagnostics and upkeep of the on-line courier system and particle size analyser in a safe, appropriate, professional, and cost-effective manner whilst maintaining alignment with Red Chris values and behaviours.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.
