The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for SAP Champion, HR to join the Regional Office in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The successful candidate will utilize project management, problem solving, lean management, root cause and corrective action and defect resolution techniques to evaluate business issues and processes, propose and test solutions and implement robust solutions. Examples include:
- Distribution Centre Events
- ERP implementation Support
- Working Capital Improvement
- Asset Location Support
- Acquisition Integrations
- Competency Evaluation and Training
- Benchmark Identification and Monitoring
Accountabilities:
- Act as a liaison between business and technology partners
- Facilitate design and implementation of new / improved process models and organizational structures
- Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques
- Manage and lead process team to achieve desired results
- Perform project management, analytics, and measurement to make certain milestones are met and deliverables achieved
- Coordinate with various teams to analyze project results and performance
- Identify and manage resources to deliver effective solutions
- Interviewing process owners to discover current or as-is state
- Act as change champion / voice of change business improvement and adoption
- Lead out larger, more complex process improvement initiatives requiring scheduling and project meetings, requirements gathering, developing project plans, summarizing, and communicating project status
- Champion innovation and toolset capabilities across the region to increase efficiencies and encourage a culture of continuous improvement
- Employ structured methodology and analytics for problem identification and solution, utilize data analysis techniques to identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions for the business
- Identify, assess, and influence process improvement opportunities with the region. Assess criteria for prioritization, benefits, and type of effort
- Understand business objectives and support implementations, always ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives. Lead process change within region and respective business areas

About You
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in managing the multiple aspects of HR, including user profiles and organizational charts, benefits administration, supporting HR compliance and payroll (Required knowledge and experience)
- Exposure to career development and succession planning, learning management, onboarding and compensation and performance goal management will be advantageous (Required knowledge and experience)
- ERP HR Implementation experience is a plus (Required knowledge and experience)
- Demonstrated experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office products (Required knowledge and experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Behavioral Competencies)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (Behavioral Competencies)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) (Behavioral Competencies)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Required knowledge and experience)
- Ability to work with minimal direction in a face paced and rapidly changing environment (Behavioral Competencies)
- Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements (Required knowledge and experience)
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, growing and ambiguous environment (Behavioral Competencies)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to influence decisions at an executive level (Behavioral Competencies)
