Earthworks Lead

Job Summary:
 

Galore Creek Mining Corporation is seeking an Earthworks Lead to work at the Galore Creek Project in northwestern British Columbia to support the field program planned for early April to October, 2023.  
 

Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, the Earthworks Lead is primarily responsible for supervising mobile equipment operation and general labour related to earthworks activities while adhering to all Galore Creek Environmental and Health and Safety requirements and acting as a courageous safety leader. 
 

Overview:
 

Earthwork activities will be conducted at two remote camps and include: road and bridge maintenance, mobile equipment maintenance, and at various remote locations supporting environmental and technical studies.
 

Located in the territory of the Tahltan Nation in northwestern British Columbia, Galore Creek is one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold-silver deposits. The position is seasonal and will be camp based on a 17 days in, 11 days out schedule inclusive of travel.  This rotation is subject to change as program planning evolves.
